Busy DfG morning - Kate is starting all over again. 

Great to see Joy back in the DfG family and sad to say it could be Dawn's last day as she is relocating to Brisbane. 

In addition to all the auxiliary work, we made 24 shields today - how amazing is that!

A very busy packing morning at DfG!  

These kits  are now on their way to Townsville, 

for distribution by the Mercy Ships in Papua New Guinea

What an amazing team effort!

The DfG Raffle Prize for today. Many thanks to Jan, Dawn and Rene.

All monies raised from these raffles goes towards buying  components for these kits.

Days for Girls Mackay is run totally by volunteers. 

Supported by lots of generous donations and assistance.

NOTICE

All DfG people will, no doubt, be aware of the loss of Kate's beautiful patchwork masterpiece.

It is very easy to pick something up and place it with you belongings, in your bag etc, when talking or being otherwise occupied; and being horrified when realising what has happened!

I expect we've all done this, I know I have.

Therefore - if you could please, just once again check at your place? I know it's probably what is called 'grasping at straws' - but, there you go - one last try.
