Monday evening was the launch of the 2019 Great Community Fundraiser. A hugely successful joint project of Mackay North Rotary Club and North Jacklin Mackay.
A large number of non-profit organisations are taking part in this fundraiser by way of selling tickets, thereby raising money for their organisation.
Representatives of our group attended the launch and registered to be part of this huge fundraising effort.
Ticket selling will commence Monday 1st April - No, not an April Fool's joke :-)
Ticket sales will close Wednesday 31st July.
The Raffle will be drawn at an official function on Monday 12th August.
Last year the Days for Girls Team sold 500 tickets, which gave a profit of $1000.
This year we are hoping to go for 1000 tickets!
