A Reminder!
Regarding the special Morning Tea celebrating the  Days for Girls Men-Folk
Saturday 20 July 2019 @ 10.30 am..We are inviting all volunteers to bring a plate to share. 

Days for Girls Mackay have a number of men who are involved in various ways assisting our organisation.

Geoff Catto .. assisted with the setting up of our rooms. He attended our workshop making cups of tea and coffee for our volunteers, vacuumed floors, and is a wonderful gofer. Put lots of studs onto shields.

Ray Cross.. our treasurer, sources fabric and other items required to make our kits at a very discounted prices.

Reverend John Mckim .. has been instrumental in allowing DfG Mackay the use of rooms as a permanent premises. Has blessed our kits and volunteers prior to distribution. He has transported kits for us to go onto the Mercy Ship.

Frank Frazer.. donated a chair for our set up and puts lots of studs onto our shields.

Tony Bell ..assisted with kits being transported to the Solomon Islands for distribution.

Ken Coombes.. as president of Mackay North Rotary .. assisted with funds and raising awareness of DfG.

Peter Johnson.. transporting kits to the hospital at Munda in the Solomon Islands.

Andrew Catto.. transported many kits from other DfG groups from Brisbane to Mackay. Also set up a speaking event at his employment which raised funds for DfG and was instrumental in a distribution in Vanuatu.

Reverend Keith McCollum .. transporting kits to Townsville for the Mercy ship.

Ed Bray.. transporting kits to Townsville for the Mercy ship.

Dave Perkins..Radio 4MK promotion of DfG Mackay.

Jim Wright .. made a sizeable donation to assist DfG Mackay setting up our rooms and getting started.

Peter Grant.. donated tables and assisted in setting up our Rooms.

Graham Bowling .. donated a sewing machine for our use.
