Di's Wynnum DfG Team - February 2020

Period Di's Wynnum DfG Team  Our DfG Mackay Team leader - who is the mastermind behind the establishment of our great DfG Mky  team of dedicated volunteers - re-located to Wynnum a few months ago, as she, and husband Geoff  - also a dedicated DfG volunteer  - wished to be closer to their family.  Our Di, being Di, was wanting to set up a DfG group in Wynnum... Here is Di's story, so far - with her words and pictures... ...This was our first gathering we had 8 volunteers .. we met at our home for 3 hours.  For most of them it was the first time they had seen a DfG kit.  So today was about getting to know what we do and how to do it.  Lots of questions and interest. We did some marking and cutting out of fabric.   We have received lots of fabric to get us started.   I will meet with 4 of the ladies on Saturday afternoon to show them how to sew a shield.  Like the Mackay ladies they all wanted homework to take with them...  Hope     Dignity     Strength     Health     Education      Freedom     Empowerment     Liberty     Safety
